URDG 758 Guarantee Architect
- Art 5 (Independence): The guarantee is independent of the underlying contract and counter-guarantee.
- Art 15 (Requirements for Demand): A demand must be accompanied by a statement by the beneficiary indicating in what respect the applicant is in breach.
- Art 20 (5-Day Examination): The guarantor has 5 banking days following the day of presentation to examine a demand.
- Art 23 (Extend or Pay): If a demand gives an alternative of extension, guarantor may suspend payment up to 30 calendar days to seek applicant agreement.
