Rates provided by open.er-api.com (open, keyless mid-market rate feed). "Change" compares against the rates cached in your browser the last time you opened this page — not a live tick-by-tick feed, and not settlement-grade. Always confirm the bank/broker rate before wiring funds.
Currency Converter Guide
This tool converts between 160+ world currencies using live mid-market rates, and shows a quick-reference bulletin for the currencies most common in cross-border trade — all computed in your browser from a single rate fetch.
How to Use It:
Type an amount in the Amount field and pick the currency you're converting from.
Pick the currency you're converting to — the Converted field updates instantly.
Click the swap button between the two fields to flip the conversion direction.
Change the Bulletin base dropdown to re-express every currency in the table against a different base (e.g. switch from USD to EUR).
Click Refresh to pull the latest rates on demand; the status line shows when the rates you're seeing were last fetched.
If your connection drops, the tool falls back to the last rates it fetched on this device (shown with an offline notice) rather than showing nothing.
Practical Techniques:
Use this as a quick sanity-check when quoting a buyer in a different currency than your costs are in — then confirm the bankable rate with your bank/broker before invoicing, since banks apply their own spread on top of the mid-market rate shown here.
Switch the bulletin base to your invoicing currency to see, at a glance, how every major trading-partner currency is moving against it.
Pair this with the Landed Cost Estimator when your FOB/CIF quote and your resale market are priced in different currencies.
Re-check the rate right before wiring a large payment — FX moves that look small in percentage terms can be material on a full container/shipment invoice value.
The "Change" column reflects movement since your last visit on this device, so it's most useful if you check back regularly rather than as a one-off snapshot.
